This is a tricky one, ( AutoCAD 2000i)
Once in awhile this will occur. We have a ground linetype that we have created and it always works in every drawing until somehow a variable or something gets turned off. The Ground linetype is ------ G ----- , something similar to that. Well in these drawings that are corrupted they show up with the "G" being very small and you can't see it. I have tried Ltscale, psltscale, dimscale, Audit, purge and reload the linetype. None of that works and I have checked the setvariables and they match up with the drawings in which the ground linetype works in. If ANYONE has seen this and has an idea I have not mentioned I would appreciate it
Greatly. Thanks.

Have you checked the font style that is being used by the linetype? It could be set to the wrong height.

Hi

Check out the following thread (and the Technical Document that is referenced within it) -

Complex lines not printing (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=4030&page=1&pp=10)

Have a good one, Mike

That is without a doubt the height of the font used in the complex linetype. We set aside a special style called "LINE" that is set to "romans" font so that nothing else will tie to it like softdesk or whatever. I personally have a snipit of code in my ACAD.LSP that sets up the "LINE" style to the correct height everytime I open a drawing also. This takes care of the problem. If the same problem happens within an XREF, you have to check the style height as before but remember to check the style name with the xref prefix in front of it (i.e. XREFNAME|STYLENAME, or xref1|romans)
