Color fills and area

Is there a way to color fill the entire room and ignore walls? I have the room area calculation set to center of wall, and unit fit-up walls are set as non-room-bounding. But when I show fill, it stops at face of wall and does not color over the fit-up walls. I would like to show the building owner exactly what is included in the area calculations.

Anyone have any suggestions?

One way to hide certain walls is to use filters in visibility, which allows filtering based on certain wall's properties and types. (I tried 'Comments' and did hide walls with certain keyword in the comments).

If you do not want to hide not-room-bounding walls, this would be good enhancement to consider.
