Squares and rectangles only. Search the forum for this topic to find some work arounds. The easiest/most common method is a filled region to 'white out' what you don't want to see.

Crop Regions can only be orthogonal. I believe this has been on the wishlist for some time now.

I don't quite get what you are inquiring. I was able do a fill on my floor plan.
