Place vertical column tags on left side of the column, not on the center of column like it is now. Make tags vertical by default. There is no need for horizontal tag in column schedule. Can not recall horizontal column yet, so why have horizontal tag...Column rotation – make option to make possible to pick a column and rotate along with columns above and below in vertical alignment on multi level buildings. Include base plates, splices, cap plates where beams run over columns and anchor bolt pattern. Ideally it would be to type in properties for base plate ¾”x20”x20” w/ (4) ¾” diameter anchor bolt and have it added to model and schedule as a small plan view, with option to locate bolts for non- typical items like L shape base plates, etc…Schedule base plates and anchor bolts as a part of column schedule or stand alone schedules. More flexible option to manipulate text for levels, etc..

You can place vertical column tags by selecting "Vertical" in the options bar. To have the tag come in on the left side of the column, edit the tag's family and move label vertically from the origin (see picture below).

This is something that has been discussed, but not sure when it will be implemented.

Are you refering to location of level text? Or their appearance?

That is my point; there need to be a separate vertical column tag provided for graphical column schedule only...
