I have attached the model where I can duplicate the bug.
1. Draw a wall.
2. Select a solid hatch for the "Course scale fill pattern" property.
3. Select a color, I chose grey.
4. Insert a wood post in the wall. The post should show in the wall.
5. Copy the post over where there isn't a wall.
6. Copy the wall over to the new post.
7. Here is the bug. If you pick wireframe, the post is now hidden by the wall hatch. If you pick hidden lines, the post shows.
The post should show no matter what as the wall hatch should not cover up the post. This is an easy way to lose structural posts in a project. That wouldn't be good.
It appears that the order in which you place the objects is the order they are redrawn. This has to be fixed as again, it would be really easy to lose a structural post in a wall by having the hatch cover it up. By the way, it prints the same way, with the hatch covering up the post.
