Borrowed Element?

I have a workset that says I have a borrowed element checked out. However, when I save and relenquish or try to save to central, the checkbox for borrowed elements is greyed out and has a greyed check mark. I've had everyone save back to central and tried relenquishing to no avail. How does one find what is borrowed?

I've had this happen a couple of times. I believe the solution that worked was to make the entire workset editable, then save to central and relinquish worksets. Let me know if that helps.
