View Full Version : Exploded DWG or Revit Components?

We have a DWG from our kitchen designer, but the exact locations are wrong. Currently we have the DWG inserted and exploded, so the individual components are seperate. We don;t think we will need interior elevations of this area, but I wonder if we would get better performance or stability by linking in the DWG and just dropping Revit families on top? Is there a suggested best practice for this kind of situation?

Thanks,
Gordon

We never explode dwgs in our file - very messy with line styles and object styles. Often we will just link it in and use it as a reference for coordination, and use revit elements to show exactly where we want them in case of a discrepancy.
