COLORED LINES/TEXT PLOT FUZZY

OK here's my problem. I'm using a HP1700 for plotting. When I plot anything in color the lines have a sort of shadowed ot doubled effect. Also, black lines have a light blue/purple shadow under them. I'm about 99% sure that it's not the printer's problem. I've just had it cleaned and I can't reproduce the effect by printing with different programs, only AutoCAD. Has anyone run into this before?

Are you using a pc3 file for plotting? If so, try plotting using the system's printer driver. If it comes out right, then just recreate your pc3 file.

Glen, the driver thing sounds good.
The user should also pop open that
PROPERTIES button next to the selected
plot device and peek at the settings it has
under graphics it could be a reolution issue.
Infact it wouldn't hurt to verify all of the plot
device setings for it.
