System Family Dim Style

My system family for linear dim style is missing in a project file. I don't know if it was ever there but it used the same settings as my default templete. I tried to 'transfer proj standards from another file but still not luck. How can I correct this error?

OK, lets rephrase this. The "load " button on the type properties for Dim Styles is grayed out. How can I load a new style?

Under Settings/Annotations/Dimensions/Linear, my Type Prop's are empty. I have dimensions in the drawing but when I start a new string ticks are gone. line weight is wrong, etc, and when I go to the type properties its empty. Tried to transfer dim styles from another file but they wont take.
Sorry I couldn't explain it any better. I worked around it by copying the model into a new templete.
