How we can export RVT files to 3DSMax to render.

3DSMax 8.0 with SP3 can do this?

Buried in the Max 8 docuementation is a fairly good explanation of how to prep and export a model from Revit and import it into 3DS. Basically you use the DWG export (solids are typically best) and then you import it. Revit tags the DWG objects with custom properties that allow the materials to translate to Max.

From there you can use the material editor to quickly apply your max materials to your model. If you take a look a the thread below, it will become more clear to you.

Hello

My problem starts after exporting a model from revit 2008 to 3ds max. After I did some work on my model in 3ds max, I decided to make some changes to the model in Revit 2008. Now I don't know how to update my 3ds max model. I don't want redo all the renderings all over again in 3ds max, every time I make changes to the model in Revit 2008.
I hope there is a solution. Please help me.

upgrade to 2011 and use FBX... other than that I don't know that you can do what you're after
