What sort of accuracy can I expect my DWF Composer to work to? I have a client that is measuring floor areas (around 3500m sq) and is getting different numbers each time he measures (about a 0.3% difference), which is just not accurate enough.

Are there any tricks I am missing. Printing to 1200DPI in my ePlot DWF print driver in AutoCad.

Also, the Composer subtracts line thickness from the area calculation - WHY?

Hi "carl_hd_collins" ( Sorry, I do not know your real name )

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the DWF Viewer General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=268) forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

Thanks, Mike

May I suggest posting in the Autodesk Design Review discussion group....

The problem appears to be in the Y-axis scaling (way off), but I also need to check which driver our bespoke DWF composer is using.

Thanks for the responses, I will keep you posted on the progress and solutions.

Have a good one, MikeThanks for the links, Mike, had a read through, they don't really address the issue that I have. It would appear that the Y and X axes are scaling differently, I need to get more information before I can hope to find a solution, but I will post up what I find out.

In 99% of the cases when the precision is not what you expect with Autodesk Design Review, increasing the vector DPI and republishing the DWF resolves the issue.
