Is there any reason why, when working inside an option that you can't trim detail lines. It's kind of frustrating to have to switch between the option and the Original just to trim a detail line. Or am I doing something wrong?

Are you trying to trim detail lines outside of the Option you are currently editing? Try clearing the "Exclude Options" toggle and see if that helps your situation. If it does that means the detail lines are not in the option you are editing... unless I'm missing something in the question.

Addendum:
When actually editing an option there is an "Active Option Only" option that should be cleared also if you want to work on things outside of the option without closing the option. And I was able to trim Detail Lines while in Edit Option mode.

Here is what I did. I was inside the option. I drew some detail lines. I needed to join them, I clicked on "TRIM" and it wouldn't trim. I turned off the option and then it would let me trim.

Not to hiJack your thread, but I notice you live in SLC and you have a soccer ball as your avatar... which leads me to believe there is a better than average chance we share common interests in soccer (given) and possibly even snowboarding (assumed by location).
Do much boarding?

Yes I have issues, but that's for another forum ;-). I just made some lines and it worked fine. Not sure what's going on. Oh well.

I'm having the same problem with Aligning lines. It just won't do it. I've unclicked and clicked the "editable only" and the "exclude options" boxes and nothing works.
