I am new to the VBA, but not ACAD, I was just wondering where one might be able to find a good reference material to start out working with it.

I think its best to learn core vb first and then learn the acad object model. There is some help in the ActiveX section of the Developer's Guide. But you may find it faster to get a book like, Visual Basic Step-By Step from MS Press. Or you can propbaly fine VB for Dummies at the library to get you started.

I ve been learing VBA using a great book:

Mastering AutoCAD VBA by Marion Cottingham published by SYBEX.

Great that is until you make a mistake...

It has a CD with code examples but I find it best to type it all yourself, kind of sinks into the old skull better ... Beware the mispelt words, full stops (periods) etc.

I' ve been looking for an online autoCAD VBA course for a while now, if anyone finds one can you please post it to the forum.
