the ramps have 3 planes. first goes 10 feet at 8%, then 18' at 15%, and last goes 10' at 8%.
the overall change vertical elevation is around 4.5'.

Hi,
Try using the ramp function. I have used that before effectively on a parking structure. Or you could use floor segments, and use the slope angle parameter to make inclines.
Let us know how it goes....

I have also taken the approach to create an in place family. Create a working section looking longitudinal through the ramp area. Create new in place floor family via the solid extrusion. This should allow you to create the required slopes of your slab. Once placed, you should be able to grab the extents of the sloped slab in plan or 3d view, and align/drag them to the required width.
