Does anyone know of a PDF driver or utility that will "auto-name" Revit output based on the Sheet name or view name? Every one that I have tried requires input from the user for each individual pdf name. The closest thing I have found is "PDF Creator (http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator/download)" which will allow for the name to be a random incremental number (IE 1.pdf, 2.pdf, 3.pdf, etc.). Which will work, but isn't ideal. Please don't anyone answer with "DWF", unless Autodesk has fixed the problem of Revit callouts not printing from DWFs. (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?p=519766#post519766)

Thanks for any help!

I also use PDFCreator & have had the same problem too with the .pdf file names all being the project file name instead of by sheet.

Go to PDFCreator's Options dialog (Ctrl-O or from Printer menu of the Print Monitor/Queue.

Click on the "Save" Program Options.

Change Filename - delete "<Title>" and then use the Add a Filename Token list to select "<REDMON_DOCNAME>"

This technique worked for a new project in Revit 8.1 and Revit 9.0, but not on an existing project & don't know why yet.

Actually, changing the PDFCreator Filename option back to "<Title>" also had this same behaviour - new projects printed .pdfs with the drawing sheet number or view name in the .pdf filename whereas existing .rvt projects printed all with the {projectname}.pdf
