Hyperlinking error

I'm trying to access hyperlinked objects in an AutoCAD 2002 drawing, but when I go to right click after selecting the object, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? I've tried loading the default ACAD menu to see if maybe my custom .mns file is whacked, but that didn't solve the problem. Anybody have any ideas?
