I have both 2006 and 2007 pointing to one tool palette on our network. It is not working properly in either vesion now. I can use the existing tools, but cannot add a new palette. Also getting the dreaded white boxes. Not sure how to fix it, or if it is worth doing since I am not sure if 2006 and 2007 can use the same palette. I am inclined to remake the palette, but need to know if I should create a new palette in 2006 for the 2006 users, then migrate that to 2007 as a seperate palette just for the 2007 workstation. Anyone run into this? Am I on the right track for trying to correct this?

Hi

Take a look at Misha Belilovskiy's ( from Autodesk ) reply in the following thread, via the Autodesk Discussion Groups "All AutoCAD Groups"...

Tool palettes (http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5328118)

Have a good one, Mike

Thanks for the reply. I think I know what I need to do now. Recreate in 2006, use this only in 2006, and recreate in 2007 and use only this in 2007. Not too bad for the amount of tool I have at the moment. Wish I would have known this ahead of time though.
