When drawing a property line in sketch mode, is it possible to specify the direction? I can get the minutes& seconds- but not the NE, SW. I would prefer not to use the table- is there a way to enter this data in as I'm drawing the line?

Change your angle units to DMS in the units dialog. You can change them back when you are finished.

I did that, but there is no where (that I can see) to type in the direction- such as north, south, east, & west.

You have to know you are pointing N-S E-W and type the correct offset in. We either get the table data which has its own set of issues, or we trace the Survey and check the lengths and angles.
