Precise Hatch Control

Greetings,
I am looking for someone who knows how to precisely control how a hatch pattern in revit is layed out. Even in AutoCAD 2002 I had some control over an origin point for the hatch, and a host of other controls that don't seem to be readily available in Revit. Any suggestions out there?

with Model Patterns you can move the lines as needed but with Drafting Patterns you're stuck with what you get... pretty sure this is a known wishlist item

This is greatness. I was about to get frustrated at another thing I thought Revit should be able to do.
