I am prety shure that in previous Revit versions I could make open arrow ends show bolder.
Now that option is grayed out for all but Heavy end tick mark. Is that on my station only or is it blocked feature.

You can't change the standard arrow lineweight in 6. I can't remember if you could do that in earlier versions.

Have you gone to Settings/Annotations/Arrowheads?

In the dialog, be sure to select heavy tick end in the family type drop-down list. Then you can either duplicate or modify the existing type's lineweight.

You can't in 6.1.

That's only available for TICK, not open arrows.

Yes, but the post was asking about the open arrow...

A dimension style gives you additional control over the "tick" lineweight, perhaps that is what you are remembering? The leader does too, but it affects the entire leader line as well as the arrow. Also it doesn't close the end of the arrow unless filled is checked.

Steve is right. What we are looking for is a parameter that behaves like the tick mark lineweight param in dimensions to be available for text. A parameter for arrowhead lineweight.
request has been submitted, factory is aware.

While you are at it Greg...make a lot of Architects happy and give us a way to "design" our own arrowheads and use em too...(seems like such a "silly" request perhaps...but I hear it alot)

Thanks!

Squeeze it in the build for this Friday?;-)
