One too many Splits?

Are there limits to how many vertical splits a wall can have?
I want to put the door from this file in the wall with the last foot
up top showing an 8x8 pattern.
This door works (obviously) in the
wall without the last section created up top.
Have we errored in how we split this wall?
Any problem you can see with the door? It works in other
walls on this project and different projects.
I am attaching a file to show you the problem.

Hope someone has an idea of we did wrong here.

As far as I know; there are no limits to how many splits you can have on a wall... intriguing... I shall investigate further.
