Link file question

I have linked number of Acad details which reside in the same directory on the server where Revit host file is. All files are linked using same procedure; create a drafting view-link the file. However, every morning I open the Revit file a number of links fails to load because they are somehow referenced to the Journal directory on the local drive. See attached images.
Anybody having same problems?

We have had similar problems but not with files in the same directory. (we keep Acad files in a subdirectory under the Revit file.

We have had problems with the linked files updating to a change when the file is reopened. We need to manually reload all of the linked Autocad files, but rarely have we had the linked file dropped

To answer my own question, upon linking a file, file location should be "saved" in the Manage Links dialog box. Perhaps that should be the default option, something for Wishlist?
