Lineweight of the core

I'm trying to use multi-layered walls/floors and I would like to see the "cut" line style only around the core (the structural layer), and not the finish. Is this possible? thanks

There is a check box under view visibility that says overide Host Layers. Check that box and set the lines up as you want.
