Does anyone know of a revit user-manual available? My authorised reseller has confirmed that Autodesk doesn't produce one - surely someone does???
Your authorized reseller is mistaken. If you are on subscription you will notice a blue card that is in the case with your software Cd's. These cards point you to the web site where you can order your free user manuals. www.autodeskbookrequest.com
If you are a student or aren't on subscription, there is usually a PDF file in the Revit program directory.

There are also a number of documents available here.

It would be nice if Autodesk provided these materials out of the box but at least they are available. I've found the User Guide pretty comprehensive and useful on previous releases.

You can also purchase them from Autodesk's store. http://estore.autodesk.com/dr/v2/ec_Main.Entry16?SP=10024&PN=51&xid=19515&V1=11033742&V2=11033742&V3=1&V5=&V4=10&S1=&S2=&S3=&S4=&S5=

Yes, the manual for revit from the bookrequest site is most excellent. I here the book for Aubin is equally great, too!
