how to show section call outs in different views?

I'm losing control of my sections and elevations call outs. Is there other than the visibility graphics place to control if I want to show these call outs in a view or not?
When I have duplicated views of a floor plan and create a new section in the original floor plan it won't show in the other ones. and if i create a section in the duplicated view nothing will came out as the section view.

with 9.1 both sections and elevations have a paramter for "hide at views courser than" which defaults to the scale of the view in which they are placed (so a section placed in an enlarged plan will not show up in the overall)
