Splines to Solids? [Archive]

Is it possible to make a solid out of splines? I have been working on this drawing for some time now and I need to be able to make a solid out of splines. I am only a novice when it comes to CAD, and I am using 2004. What proceedure must I follow to be able to do this.

Links would also be very helpful.

Have you tried the _.Extrude command ?

I have just tried to do the extrude comand but I get unable to extrude slected objects.

Can you please post an example drawing file...

At this end when I experimented by creating a closed SpLine, I was successfully able to use the _.Extrude command on the closed SpLine to form a Solid Object.
