Thank you in advance for your time, please don't hesitate to laugh (!!!) I am very new to using structural members.
Scene setup.
1. I make four walls and some columns created in place.
2. For one column I use join geometry, for some of them I cut the walls and use align to make them touch to the edges and some of them I let them as they are to see the difference in 3D. I see that no matter what I choose, I have the same lines (edges) visible to my model (in 3d view).
3. I make some beams, concrete beams, width same as the wall. Look at the attached image to see what is wrong.
4. Also, sometimes, if I try to extend some beams like the one that stops before going to the column, it flips to the other side.
I would very much appreciate some help here,
