turn off groups?

for the longest time I've been doing work-arounds for this, but is there a way that I can turn off various groups in different views?

You could create a workset with groups in it. Turn that on/off.
You could place the groups in desgn options. Control them with that tool.
But groups can't be controled on/off as just a group.

There's no way to turn off visibility of a specific group in a view. As a work around you could make a special workset and control it's visibility in specific views. Hope that helps.
