do we still have the option to install 1 license twice? i remember before in the license agreement that we can install 1 at the office and 1 at home. is that still even possible with the more restrictive authorization codes?

do i always have to use the portable license utility? is the time sensitive license borrowing utility available only in network versions?

thanks in advance

I have Revit series, and I have Autocad and Revit on my laptop and on my big machine. The EULA specifically says the license is valid for one machine and a laptop, as long as you're not using both machines at the same time. I do, however, bring my laptop to the office to load files for meetings, and check the file on the desktop and then the laptop to make sure the transfer worked. I have a little hub ethernet network, and haven't had any license problems.

thanks mike. how were you able to install it on your laptop. didn't it ask you for a new authorization code? or where you exporting your license file back and forth

you simply need to do a regular install on your laptop and authorize like usual.

Do a regular install on both machines. You are legal as long as both are not in use at the same time. License borrowing is not needed for this minor purpose.
