How can I restore the Add-A-Plotter wizard file in AutoCAD LT 2007, without reloading the whole program?
The file became invalid and was asking if it was okay to ignore it. So I removed the file and we don't get the message, but now we can't add a new plotter.

Try doing a repair. Insert your Installation CD; it may give you an option to repair; if not, try going to your add/remove programs in your control panel; clock on AutoCAD LT, and there should be an option to change; I believe that will give you a repair option.

That doesn't seem to work. I just tryed it again and the file was not added.

Then I would guess you would have to reload the program.

I don't know of any other way to fix it.

Add-A-Plotter Wizard is just a Windows short-cut. By default it points to...

"C:\Program Files\<AutoCAD Version Here>\addplwiz.exe"

Therefore you can recreate the short-cut yourself eg Look at Method #2

ID: TS44911 - No shortcut in the Plotter Manager for the Wizard (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2873266&linkID=2475323)

Have a good one, Mike
