I am using Revit 9.1. In the attached image you see two roofs drawn on the same level, same type, same model pattern. One has a curved edge the other a square edge. The square one shows the pattern the curved one doesn't. Why?

Why does curved wall but not curved roof?

Curved don't show pattern.
So a work around is to segment the curve?

Did you try using the Paint Bucket?

Yes - I tried both changing the roof structure and using the paint bucket.

if you draw the roof so that the lines that give the pitch angle are strait lines, theres no reason why it shouldn't work. did you already try drawing segmented lines versus a curved line for the overhang. (the line you use to give the pitch properties) I did a quick example to show you what the end result is. I hope this helps you out...
