hi all,

any ideas on why this would be happening? a quick augi search was not very fruitful.

thanks,

My best advice would be to restart the Revit program. I've had that happen to me a couple times before and i assume sometimes when the program loads it somehow forgets the rendering part. After restarting the program, check the rendering tab first before opening your project. If it still shows grey, then check under settings, options, and click on the rendering tab to make sure the program is looking in the right place for that information.

I hope this helps...it worked for me in the past- :)

Sincerely,
Brian Andresen

hmm when I click once on a view in my project browser so that it highlights, but does not open the view, most of the stuff under the rendering tab goes gray just like you showed. When I click back in the model space window, everything comes back. Is this not working for you?

The picture indicates that focus is in the browser window (its title is highlighted). Clicking on 3d view should bring focus there and enable rendering tools.

Hi all,

Thanks for your help. Turns out there was a slight mix-up in our installation process. The app was looking locally for the rendering content but our installation script had not copied the content over.

All better now.
