Im having a hard time on this..

I have Revit 9 on my computer, and so all my work is saved with Revit 9. Is there a way to "saveas" to Revit 8?

I see you can open Revit 8 file on a Revit 9 program but you can't go backwards from a Revit 9 to a Revit 8...

and so my question is.... is there a WAY to save files when working with Revit 9 to Revit 8????

HELP!!!

Thanks!!!

I'm very sorry to have to be the one to say this but no, it's not possible. Its a good idea to keep the older version on your computer for a while if possible just in case you want to work on something without upgrading the version of that file. It's not like AutoCAD where you have the option to save it as an older version.

Sorry again,

Sincerely,
Brian Andresen

Based on the number of additional features added to new versions it is unlikely to be a feature. Also since Autodesk requires subscription for Revit at least for the first year they expect people to upgrade as new releases are available.
