What would be the cause of not being able to see "new construction" components in a view that is set to Existing Phase. I checked the view properties. here are the stats

Phase Filter: Show All
Phase: Existing

I made sure all the worksets are on. checked the VG and everything is good.

You need to set it to "new construction" phase and then work with the "graphic overrides" in Phase Settings to get the views to look the way you want...

So, change "phase" to be "new construction" and all will be visible...

to follow up on Luigi's post; Phases are "Periods in Time". If your Phase is set to Existing, it means you are showing that moment in time....it's existing, nothing new has started construction yet, so it wont show.

Imagine you are remodeling your home. It's current state before you start any work is Existing. When you first tear down that one scrap of drywall, you have entered the New Construction Phase: the period in time where construction happens. Demolition happens during construction. Adding new stuff happens during construction.

To see a Demo Plan, the phase will be New Construction, and the Phase filter will be set to Show Existing and Demo.

To see a New Plan, the Phase will be New Construction, and the Phase Filter will be Show Existing and New.
