Site Surface failed to triangulate

Howdy All,

Making a building pad and after creating the linework; <<finish sketch>>; got the following message:

Error - cannot be ignored
The Site Surface failed to triangulate.
Hit <<show>>; and, of course:

No good view could be found.
Please help.

The "Failed to Triangulate" error usually means that you've either got a hole in your Sketch, or something overlapping.

Too bad that "Show" failed. That's the simplest way to find out where.

If (make that when) that doesn't work, the best trick I've found is to pre-highlight a line on your Sketch (in Sketch mode) and then hit the TAB key. If there are two lines that don't quite touch, you'll see the highlighting stop instead of making a closed polyline. You'll most likely need to Zoom in really close, but you should eventually be able to find the gap and close it.

Overlapping lines are a little harder, but the same process usually works.
