Hidden lines in floor and slab families

How can I change the way hidden lines are displayed in floors and slabs (system families)?

They appear to be on the hidden line linestyle, but when I change the definition of hidden lines (i.e. making them thicker or change color) that change does not propagate to floors and slabs.

I don't know how or if I can get inside these families to change them.

Hi Sarah,

If I understand correctly, you're referring to Revit's hidden-line display of concrete components as opposed to 2D linework. You can change the hidden-line display of columns, beams, walls, etc under Settings->Object Styles...

If you are talking about 2D linework, then Settings->Line Styles is the place to go.

That's what I was looking for. I had tried to make the change under Settings>Linestyles and that didn't work. I guess that's just for 2D linework.

I did figure out how to make the change per view by going into the View Properties, but your method is really the global change that I was hoping to find.
