Importing dwg to detail view

I am having trouble getting a dwg file to show up in a detail view when I import it. It shows up fine in a drafting view, any idewas?

Firstly check the import units scale. It may be importing as a very large or very small block and therefore not be visible in the detail view.

Then check your settings and try different ones - link and current view only, place manually, etc.

Also, when you import make sure to choose manual place to ensure that it is placed within the Field of view.
