Design Option Help Needed

I have been working with design options for one of our projects recently. I have just been asked to show one of the options dashed in on the primary plan. I would have thought I could control this under visibility/graphics but I can't seem to find a way to do it. I also tried to control it by creating a sub category of walls, but I can't get that to work either.

Other than the line work tool and demolishing the elements in the same phase does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

You might be able to overlay a plan on top of another in the sheet, you will probably still have to make use of the line work tool, or just use overrides of the categories settings in one of the views. This concept gets applied to showing stuff from floor plans in RCPs sometimes too.

Have you considered grouping the items in the one design option, pasting it into the primary, and then controlling the linestyles of the group? I may have to use this technique in the future, because currently my project is not allowing me to switch my primary option. Best of luck.
