I link a model with a lighting fixture to another project's file. The linked model was displayed well, all the model was okay. But I found something wrong with the lighting when I rendered it. The lighting fixture was not listed in the lighting list so that there was no lighting effect when rendered.
Anyone could help me?
Thanks

I beleive (without further testing) that the actual light source of a light fixture does not carry through when linking models (real pain I know). So if you are trying to do an interior rendering and you have an interior model and a core/shell model, you will need to do your rendering in the interior model with core/shell linked into it. If you need an exterior rendering, and you want the affect of light pouring out of your building you will need to place studio lights in the core/shell model, to represent the light from the inside. When doing interior renderings make sure to make use of the 3D crop box in an axometric 3D view to reduce what you are attempting to render at any one time.
