View Full Version : Key assignment
Is there a way to assign the [shift] key function in Revit to another key like [+], same for the [tab] and [ctrl] keys to and [-].
Not sure. I know that you can create your own shortcut keys if you go and edit the KeyboardShortcuts text file in C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit Building 9\Program. This could do what you want.
You mean like assigning a shortcut [+] to the [shift] key. That would be good too, but I have looked in the shortcut file before and couldn't find something in the file similar to the shift function or the others.

Also interested in an answer as I have not been able to get the keyboard accelerators to work how I thought they would.
As I said I'm not sure if this would be the answer you were looking for.Have you tried making it a wish list or speaking to the factory about it?
