Sometimes I want a dimesion on say a standard detail drawing to display the "wrong" size
if you want it to say display "450mm minimum" and it is actually 512mm, go to the dimension properties - duplicate the style (very important!!) set the suffix to "minimum" and set the rounding in the units to 450...
To make sure you dont use it by mistake elswhere- make it red - a good tip for any time you set a rounding value for dimensions, make them a different colour.

Love the tip! Thanks.
Setting rounded dimensions to red is an excellent tip. Thanks!

Or you can just go to dimedit select the dim. then in the edit dia. box where (<>) is and
type in the dim you want the object to read.

Whoops! Sounds like someone doesn't realize what forum they're in. That can easily happen with the "New Posts" link up top. Anyway, welcome aboard wcbates.

My first instinct was to remove the post since it doesn't apply to this software, but then it makes for a little chuckle right? You're right James, it is very easy to find yourself intrigued by a post title only to find yourself in a "foreign" land... Can't wait till we see a Revit based response to an ADT question :) Something like, "Just use a filled region for that" or....(tag you're it...)

Interesting. In feet & inches, you don't get the "custom" rounding increment option.
