Baluster panels

Is it possible to create a baluster panel and assign a 'width' parameter which is linked to the length of the railing (of which the baluster panel is a component).

In other words, if the balusters are panels can their width be adjusted such that the panels do not project beyond the railing posts.

No, this makes it tricky for corner conditions etc. If the railing is flat, I really like using curtain walls for glass panel railings, you actually load the balluster into the panel family and align it to the grid line, then you can stretch the curtain grids and have the adustable railing you've allways wanted. The downside is they don't work easily on stairs.
