We are showing interior elevation tags on a master floor plan, and on a blowup plan at a larger scale. Is it possible to have Revit intuitively change the size of the tag based on teh scale of the view? I know how to change the size of the tag, but it only lets you choose one elevation tag for the entire project.

Any suggestions?

thanks.

Elevation tags (and all tags I think) are sized relative to your sheet, so they are the same size on all sheets, no matter what the view scale.

I would think you would just want to hide those interior elevation scale markers on your master plan, and just let them show on your enlarged plan. That's usually the standard method, I think.

I'll just add this to the list of things Revit doesn't do well.

We do enlarged core plans of certain areas of the floor plan (bathrooms, etc.), but for most instances the overall floor plan is the only location of areas in our project. It seems rather odd to me that Revit only allows one size fits all for the elevation tags.

Like patricks said, tags are scaled to be the same size on each sheet, so that from sheet to sheet, all of your elevation tags are visible and legible.

My firm's template has identified a different size elevation tag for interior vs. building elevations. Perhaps this small move could help?
