View Full Version : Import layer visibility problem

I have a linked ACAD import drawing in my plan (room furniture layouts). Not long ago I "deleted" a layer for better visibility. However, I can't seem to find a means of "restoring" that layer. The only means I could come up with was unloading & reloading the import (didn't work).
I haven't tried removing and re-importing it; I'm guessing I would then need to go to each view where it shouldn't show (about 6 of them) and turn it's visibility "off".
Is there some other way of controlling the visibility of layers in imports other than simply deleting them?

pick on the dwg, then click query, then pick the object and hide in view.

That word 'delete' will give you heartache every time.
Hide in View is the best way.

I was trying to better control the visibility of a specific layer within an insert, not the whole insert. I discovered I can control individual layers through Settings - Object Styles - Imported Objects without deleting layers.
