Text - Leader spacing?

Any way to reduce the space between text and leader? I'd like to tighten it up.

Make the text box smaller or change the justification to right.RJ helped a little, like ~1", thanks. Text box is already as small as it can get. Gap still appears too big.

PS: Font is 3/32" Arial at 1/4"=1'

I think visually, if you break the leader line such that it goes horizontally for a bit first and then down at an angle, it will be perceived better than the way you're showing it and the gap would be less noticeable. This is our standard.
