Roof problem

How can I make this kind of roof? any suggestions

I would create it as a second roof and sit it on top of the first roof.

I suppose you could split the roof edge that travels along the left side (as pictured) to allow for the shed-dormer, but I'd prefer the second roof maneuver. It has more control.

It's definitely a two roof job.

Attached is a simple project that you can use as a reference model. Don't struggle too much getting the slope and roof offset to match the peak roof line. Create the roof with the desired slope then create a section and use the "Move" tool to move the top of the shed roof to the peak of the main roof. The resulting offset in my example is 4' 11 1/64", which would be tough to figure out by trail and error... the move method is much quicker and more accurate.
