Linked insert wants to rotate

Several times today I have updated a linked insert -- an Autocad room furniture layout -- and had it roatate. The first time I thought I might have inadvertently done something, but this time I know I didn't. The next couple of times it was OK. I just did it and again it has rotated. I checked the UCS & snap rotation in the linked file and they're OK.
Has anayone else seen this and know what might be causing it?

Try this:

Go to File / Manage Links dialog.

Highlight the linked file in question in the list.

Hit the "Save Location" radio button at the bottom left of the dialog.
