Hi again
I have a building who's ground floor level is at 0.
I have drawn a toposurface and have a topo floating above my building at around the 55m height.
My intention was to use relocate project to move my building up by 55m but obviously the topo surface moves with it. So I cut the topo surface and pasted it to a new file, then relocated the project and then pasted the topo surface back in but it is still incorrect.
I figure that it is because the "Relocate project" function in only a mathematical function and changed the shared co-ords of the building. I dont want to physically move the building up as it will probably cause problems.
I guess I want to set the topo surface to use shared co-ordinates instead of absolutes,
In the past I have always had seperate building and site models and all works fine but in this instance I need to keep them together.
Does anyone have any advise on this one.
Regards
Dave
