See attached jpg.
Started by drawing the boundary from lower left. Then added the risers. Then added the splits. Get error message that won't let me complete the stair. I want the 1 tread offset at the landing, by the way. This creates a smooth handrail transition as you are going down

Reid:
I have had this problem as well, it seems that sometimes boundary lines like to join to riser lines rather then other boundary lines. The only way that I've found to get this to work properly is the draw the boundary lines as chains, offset some distance from your stair. Once you have both boundaries drawn move or align the boundaries back to where they are suppose to be. This can still be a tricky process, because of the joining issue mentioned above, but I had some luck working this way.

Reid,

The reason you can not complete the stair is because you have boundary lines in the places where your last riser and starting riser would be, remove those and you should be able to complete the stair. Hope that helps.

Got it.
Thanks.
