Did you just unplug the monitor? Your graphics card may still think there's two screens connected.

Go to the properties for your display (right-click on your desktop -> Properties), then check to make sure that it's not set up for two monitors. The exact place to look is a little different for different graphics cards, but it'll be in there somewhere.

Hope this helps!

In addition to the above comment, there might be a specific properties manager for the graphics card. I run dual screens on a Nvidia card and there is a separate app. that controls the display settings, one of which lets you specify which screen specific programs will open on. If you have such an application, check this and make sure everything is set to open on monitor 1. HTH.

Hi there,

Check out these threads ; Dual Monitors and Dual Monitors & Dialogue Boxes (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=8114). You will find a couple of good links listed in them, hope this is helpful in solving your problem.
Also at the bottom of both of these pages you will find a further list of similar threads to peruse.

;) I found these by using the "forum search" facility in the toolbar above.^^

What OS? If you are running Win XP then it should be as simple as this:

1) Go to the desktop, Right-Click and select Properties from the menu that pops up.

2) In the Display Properties dialog that appears, go to the Settings tab.

3) Select Display 2 - either by clicking the blue box with the white '2', or by selecting it from the list.

4) Uncheck the box that says "Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor".

5) Click OK

Done!

If you can't see Display 2, then you may need to plug the second monitor back in to perform this task, but other than that it should be extremely simple.
